Description: The second of the experimental SKU knives to come out from Spyderco, this one was released as a CX02. I actually owned one of these experimental folders which came in the unmarked blue boxes that Spyderco used for a time there. This knife was released both in Almite coated aluminum and G-10. The knife was released as the Navigator II with the C93 SKU.

Description: The Spyderco Ocelot appears to be modeled at the Tim Wegner designed Spyderco knives, and leans towards a hunting and dressing knife like the Spyderco Impala which it replaced in 2005. The knife features paw prints on the handle to improve traction.

Description: The Tim Wegner Jr. C49 is the smaller version of the C48 Tim Wegner, from the same designer which is the knife’s namesake, obviously. The C49 was only made for two years and so is considerably more rare than the C48.

Description: The D’Allara is based on the World Trade Centre knife that Spyderco released in a Limited edition and is named after the NYC Police officer John D’Allara who was one of the police officers on duty during the disaster but never made it. Officer D’Allara was a long time Spyderco Collector. This knife was later released in a Drop Point version as well.

Description: The Spyderco Scorpius is another of Spyderco’s “designed-in-the-dark” knives where the fuction comes before form. Designed by Sal’s son Eric Glesser, the Scorpius is supposed to be an “urban tactical utility knife”. The distinctive finger choils and tail allow the user several hand positions as well as giving the knife maximum retention in the hand.
